“Let’s show the world what two little Latin girls can do,” Jennifer Lopez told Shakira, shortly before playing the Super Bowl Half Time Show in Miami.

In the event, the duo showed they could sing, belly dance, crowd surf, knee slide, pole dance and even play drums.

It was a kinetic and sometimes dizzying set, as the Latin singers raced through 20 songs in just 12 minutes.

And after two years of under-cooked half time shows, their vibrant, kitsch spectacle was a major return to form.

The light keeps shining and Oliver Mtukudzi’s music continues as Maduvha commemorates the legend who passed away on the 23rd January 2019. The two have worked together over the years and this time was even more special when Maduvha featured Oliver Mtukudzi in her song titled Nyarara which is shona for keep quiet/ don’t cry.

The song was recorded before the unfortunate passing away of Dr Mtukudzi. Written by Maduvha the song is more of spiritual and inner strength overcoming.

Inspired by the crossroads we encounter as people be it in our marriage, family, friendship, work or love. Everyone has gone down this road and can relate to the humps that we come through as we pass different phases in our lives and this song is about strength at those times.

African powerhouse and global trailblazer MR EAZI drops his first new music of 2020, in the shape of the lo-fi, mellow offering “KPALANGA” (which translates to “Go Crazy”).

The track, which is dedicated to servicemen and women around the world, was inspired by the real-life love between his military father and civilian mother.
