HARARE – Former Zengeza West opposition MP Job Sikhala has finally been released after almost two years in remand at the notorious Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison in Harare.

Opposition MDC-T president Douglas Mwonzora has bizarrely claimed that MDC Alliance Vice Chairman Job Sikhala is still a member of his MDC-T.

He was taken into custody for what authorities say was a breach of his bail conditions after he posted a message on social media regarding the bail application of Henrietta Rushwaya, the president of the Zimbabwe Miners’ Federation accused of gold smuggling.
