A Nyanga woman, Jestina Kuziva Satambara (51) has been suppressing her HIV using traditional herbs for 20 years. She tested HIV positive in 1996 where Anti-Retroviral Treatment (ART) was not available in Zimbabwe. Thus she opted for traditional herbs which have been effective in rejuvenating her immune system from approximately 30 CD4 count (where she was bedridden) to over a 1 000. She shared her story.
