The opposition Zimbabwe People First president Joice Mujuru was at the Harare Magistrates Court today to show solidarity with Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association secretary for Information and Publicity Douglas Mahiya. Mahiya is being charged with undermining the authority of or insulting President Robert Mugabe after he allegedly wrote a damning statement on behalf of the war veterans association describing President Mugabe as a “genocidal dictator.”
