A combination of inadequate service delivery, poor drainage systems and incessant rains have resulted in the country’s biggest marketplace Mbare Musika being a hotspot for typhoid and other water-borne diseases.
Harare City Council Acting Town Clerk, Mrs Josephine Ncube, has issued a warning today against illegal settlers on council land around Harare. Ncube called on all people that invaded Crowborough, Churu and Eyestone Farms to move out on their own before action is taken.

The City Council guys pulled up in a pick up truck by the vendor stalls adjacent to The Boomerang Night Club at the Copacabana rank. They then started piling wooden table tops in front of the vendor stalls blocking the pathway to the stalls.
