The Shona people living in Kenya are among the biggest beneficiaries of president Uhuru Kenyatta’s 57th Jamhuri day goodies. The 1,670 Shonas became Kenya’s newest community to attain citizenship after almost sixty years of being stateless.
The Kenyan shonas say they now need not fear walking around, doing business, opening bank accounts or taking their children to school.
