Prolific ZimDancehall chanter Poptain has finally released visuals of his 2018 hit song Freedom which talks about today’s youths desire to be free from rampant corruption, deteriorating social services, human rights violations, and the abject poverty they are exposed to in the country.
Poptain in the visual video portrays how Zimbabwe’s political and economic turmoil has availed limited opportunities for the bulk of suffering ordinary citizens trying to break away from the chain of oppression and poverty.
Using conscious lyrics in Freedom, Poptain assumes the persona which is an embodiment of suffering citizens lamenting the political, economic and socio-economic ills making their lives miserable.
