Rep. Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.) got into an altercation with a reporter following Tuesday’s State of the Union address, during which Grimm reportedly threatened to throw the reporter over a balcony.
Video from NY1 shows the Staten Island congressman ending an interview with the network’s reporter after the reporter attempted to ask him about alleged campaign finance wrongdoing.
Shortly thereafter, Grimm returns and gets in the reporter’s face, on camera.
Grimm’s comments to the reporter can’t be made out. But NY1 political director Bob Hardt tweeted after the altercation that Grimm told the reporter “I will break you in half” and threatened to throw him over a balcony.
