US Ambassador to Zimbabwe Harry K. Thomas Jr hails the Zimbabwean Government for honouring its international commitments and offering a safe haven for thousands of refugees from the world’s hotspots.
The Zimbabwean government and civil servants have failed to resolve a dispute over delayed salary payments. Government employees’ June wages have been deferred by two weeks. This means some people will only be paid in July.
