Questions are still being asked on how Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary skipped the country to Malawi. 

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, his wife Mary and their co-accused will spend two more nights at the Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Services.

Enlightened Christian Gathering Church leader, Shepherd Bushiri and his Wife have been granted 100 thousand rand bail. The case has been postponed to the 10th of May 2019.

The fraud and money laundering case against ECG church leader prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary has been postponed to Wednesday. A postponement was granted to allow defence lawyers to prepare for a bail application. The couple was arrested last Friday. Meanwhile, hundreds of ECG members protested against Bushiri’s arrest outside the court in the Pretoria CBD. Protesting ECG members threatened to boycott the forthcoming general elections if Bushiri’s charges are not dropped.
