Members of Zimbabwe’s opposition party, the MDC Alliance, says they are confident that their president, Morgan Tsvangirai will recover soon in time to join them in the trenches as they mobilise ahead of the country’s upcoming elections. Dismissed Zimbabwean vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa has reportedly fled the country for fear of his safety. Media reports from Zimbabwe state that he has issued a direct challenge to the long ruling president Robert Mugabe and his wife, Grace, saying Zimbabwe is not their personal property. He’s vowed to ultimately return to Zimbabwe to lead the party.
