War veterans arrested in Zimbabwe last week for demanding an increase in their pension allowance insists that they are not being used by Vice President Constatino Chiwenga as some unnamed government officials have alleged. The 39 veterans, who fought in the country’s liberation war over 40-years ago were released on bail after spending four days in police custody. They faced charges for forming an illegal gathering.
