Zimbabweans will see new currency in circulation within the next two weeks. This, according to central bank chief John Mangudya. This will address crippling liquidity shortages in the economy and regain monetary policy control after years of US dollarisation.
This is happening as the country is also grappling with inflation that is believed to be over 1000%.
