Political commentator Dr Pedzisai Ruhanya goes head to head with Zanu PF’s South Africa spokesman Kennedy Mandaza on the SABC to discuss the sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.
Mandaza said while the sanctions claimed to be targeted, they were affecting ordinary people, Ruhanya however argued “sanctions are a symptom of a deeper problem, so the question is what is the Zimbabwe problem. The Zimbabwe problem is a governance and legitimacy problem.”
