DISCUSSION: Mugabe’s legacy with Basildon Peta and Rutendo Matinyarare – SABC

Basildon Peta is a Zimbabwean journalist and activist who left the country in 2008. Rutendo Matinyarare is an activist for Zimbabwe Unite against US War Sanctions. They speak to the SABC about Zimbabwe’s former president Robert Mugabe’s legacy.

Former President Jacob Zuma delivered the Robert Mugabe memorial lecture in Madadeni, KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday night.

Following the passing of Mugabe, two other South Africa’s presidents, Cyril Ramaphosa and former president Thabo Mbeki delivered public lectures on the life of Mugabe.
