I don’t hate Mugabe – Didymus Mutasa at NERA meeting

At least 18 opposition political parties today agreed to come up with mechanism to form an electoral coalition against the aged Robert Mugabe and his ruling ZANU PF.

In a meeting held in Harare at the Rockwood Christian Centre all major political parties were represented by their leaders including those led by Dr Simba Makoni, Tendai Biti, Elton Mangoma, Joyce Mujuru, Marcellina Chikasha, Barbara Nyagomo, Welshman Ncube whilst Morgan Tsvangirai was represented by his senior party leaders.

The convener of the coalition under the banner National Electoral Reform Agenda (NERA) as well as CODE and former Mugabe ally Didymus Mutasa spoke on behalf of all the parties and urged Zimbabweans to come out in their numbers during the Friday mega march.

So far police are yet to sanction the march scheduled for Friday but Mutasa said all legal channels would be exhausted.
