Thousands of MDC supporters descended on the party’s Harvest House headquarters on Thursday to pay respects to their late party leader Morgan Tsvangirai who lost his battle to cancer of the colon in South Africa.
The MDC National Council also met and appointed Advocate Nelson Chamisa as the Acting President for a period of 12 months before the party holds its next congress in 2019.
