Tongogara Barracks’ plaque spelling mistake irks Mnangagwa – VIDEO

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today (06/12/2017) officially renamed King George VI Barracks and is now known as the Josiah Magama Tongogara Barracks. However, there is a spelling mistake on the plaque unveiled to mark this day.

  • Iwe Nehanda, is this news worthy. We see spelling mistakes in your articles everyday but noone complains…

  • Dougie apinda busy

  • NaMugabe paitofa munhu

  • Spelling mistake is your main focus in your article which is complete an idiotic thing to do. … why not focus on whether it was really important to be embarking on name changing ceremonies at this moment in time instead of putting all resources into changing the economy for the better…then after all these and other things can be done.

    • Of course Mnangagwa has to please the real power behind his illegal throne, the military. Zanu PF’s priorities from day one of independence have always been to consolidate power, everything else is secondary including human and ordinary lives

  • Army president ED,

  • When corruption meets inefficiency this is what happens. That mistake is as fake as Mnangagwa’s presidency

  • Zimbawe? What the f*ck is that they give jobs to drunk but connected people nxaaa ndozvavanga vachida.

  • But this ED guy is spending far too much time nezvinhu zvisinabasa izvo…who cares about barracks and their names…..We want to hear grand opening of businesses and jobs created kwete zvema barracks izvi.

    • Maybe we can actually learn about what his priorities are… which is the army that secured a victory he would have never achieved politically (just like 2008). If you take away all the external dressing and appearances ED is just the head of a military junta and thus not his own man

    • Ayas ndoproblem yenyu vanhu you think maIndustry anongovhurwa ne2 weeks here

    • Tinashe why not? Saka urikuda kumirira 10 years kuti avhurwe?

    • Tinashe there are things of greater importance than this shit of his, he should be addressing Bread n Butter issues, Zimbabwe’s problems. Instead he is showing us Kuti his bread is buttered on which side.

    • Tinashe there are things of greater importance than this shit of his, he should be addressing Bread n Butter issues, Zimbabwe’s problems. Instead he is showing us Kuti his bread is buttered on which side.

    • Percy…Thank You!

    • Kana ne one day

    • Tinashe…just a kid and will never understand the pressing issues of this country since he is being spoon fed at home…pardon him

  • Magamba not Magama?

  • Maybe its not a spelling mistake asi kuti nyika pamwe ndoyachinjwa zita kabisira😂😂😂

  • Zvinobatsirei

  • Ok ok KG V1 -JMT Barracks🙇🙇🙇

  • Kana ari musoja akanyora apo amama kkkkk

  • There Was no need to put head of state, chief in commander all that didn’t need to be written.

  • is that necessary???

  • Is it necessary for now honestly there are many things ryt nw needs attention expanding our road netwrks which now has became a death trap ,buying life serving drugs in our hospitals

  • Ko takatadza here kuita mnangagwa president??
kana takatadza mangwana chaiye toswera tamudonhedza uyu!

  • That is how we feel when our Ndebele words are mispelt. A taste of one’s medicines there.
Check out the econet misspelling of ‘ikisimusi isifikile’ instead of ‘ikhisimusi isifikile’.

  • I think our president wants to maximise. He has little time in office but he wants a lot under his leadership hence quick name changes and vendor chasing. It could have been given time but if you want your name over it itz difficult to wait

  • Iwe nehanda hazvina tsvunhu izvi

  • Someone is still on honey moon.

  • What ever

  • hapana nyaya apa
