Chitungwiza Hospital nurses on strike – VIDEO

Nurses from Chitungwiza downed tools (01/12/2017) to demonstrate over the plight of patients who they said are paying the ultimate price for the hospital’s “outrageous want of money”.

  • ah hoo

  • A few days ago garwe rakaponyonga paParerenyatwa- now its game on as i watch from the terraces

    • Eish hatichaziva the truth coz other sources said He paid a visit to Chitungwiza Gen Hospital that’s why ndichiti Facebook ndeye zvidhakwa chete

    • @ Sithole, Gumbo is saying Garwe made a mistake appointing Parerinyatwa as Minister again. Not talking about alleged visits by ED, which were never proven.

  • i have been there, the pharmacy inside the hospital charges more than 2 times the going prices for almost everythng. imagine a 25 ml syringe costs 50c. its riduculously unbelievable.

  • Make sure you first attend the patients then moita zve dancing henyu otherwise it doesnt make sense to down tools in a bid to protect patients whom you have left to die whilst doing your dancing routine.

    • Kkkk taurai henyu

    • Kusiyana kwefungwa

    • Maonero anosiyana

    • How do they attend to patients without gloves syringes, and all the other stuff needed. How does it help when they endanger themselves as well as the patients. I have been there these nurses are justified

    • Your problem is that you think you know better than everyone else, you want to give advice to everyone yet you are a total failure.

    • So you leave patients to die coz of gloves and syringe. Its better to ask their relatives to bring then you do your street dancing later

    • Hapana mushonga saka unoda kuti vabereke varwere here.verenga nhaurwa wozotaura maonero ako

    • Prescription, thats the norm now. Tatojaira kuzvitengera. Totenga tega its better than to go dancing leaving patients dying

    • Yes, its good to dance, thus drawing attention to that recycled minister of health. However dancing the whole day shows some sign of stupidity. Otherwise no salary for these fools.

    • Imagine your wife or you yourself having been admitted to give birth and you are all alone in the maternity ward just coz some midwives are busy dancing outside, STOP IT!!!

    • You have been involved in an accident, bleeding profusely, and in need of emergency health care only to hear the noise of nurses dancing outside. They must STOP IT! forthwith.

    • I don’t think these nurses are stupid enough to all come out and dance protesting ….they would have left a skelleton staff to watch the patients. …let us not be quick to judge others when they take action against things that are not being done ryt. Government hospitals and municipal hospitals or clinics need not be run like pvt ones…

    • Imi vanhu vane kapfungwa kekungoshora ndimi futi motanga kuchema chema kana masangana nematambudziko anenge achiedza kubviswa neavo vamuri kushora

    • Unopiwa prescription na 7 after visit yakuseni yozotengwa na 2 zvobatsirei remember mushonga ino piwa ne time anambuya endai munotamba stereki zvinhu zvinake henyu imi

    • Think logical my brother. I think u are being inconsiderate

    • @Mike it’s more like it’s all Abt u n ur family. A nurse also belongs to a family… She needs gloves so she doesn’t contract disease.. #no one cares, she needs to eat healthier to prevent contracting highly infectious conditions like tb.. # it doesn’t matter my wife is in Labour n she needs attention, the same wyf🤷 has a wound after delivery she needs a proper diet for her to fastly heal n return to her family… # the nurse should stop dancing against the cabbage therapy……. Wat exactly should b done. N remember there always remains coverage nurses to take care of emergencies, that’s Wat Doz ppl go to xul for

    • Attend to patients uchibata nemaoko no gloves

    • @Mike its tyrannic to regard others as foolish. Always see others as more intelligent than you until proven otherwise. Those are learned nurses & am sure its a planned demo. Patients are being attended. 2 weeks ago soldiers took to streets of Hre & u think it was the whole battalion & nobody at base. The masses joined in & u think the houses were left unattended. Umgh!!!

    • Yu have never been to Chitungwiza dear thumbs up to these nurses ngavatambe kongonya kana ichigadzira zvinhu mwana wacho anotongodonha pasi pasina glove rekumubata uchinzi ende unotenge pa Cas

    • How can they be more intelligent, leaving patients to die on sick bed is no intelligent at all

    • Just ask their relatives to buy those gloves, no big deal.

    • Wahwa here zvataurwa na julius

    • Ahwa mkomana

    • let them dance until medication and proper equipment is provided.

  • pakanyanya

  • Bob dzoka hako..

  • hats off to these nurses,.they have a lot of heart.then you reappoint parirenyatwa as health minister.he has been presiding over that money harvest during mugabe era.suddenly someone expects him to come up with fresh ideas which he ddnt have four weeks ago.

  • MUCHINYANYA BABA DZOKAI NEKUCHEMBERA KWENYU

  • Watch out ED is coming there no honeymoon remember

    • REALLY DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PRESIDENT SHAME ON YOU, ZVINO ZVAVAKAWANDIRWA NEBASA VANOSVIKA RIINI IKOKO. WELL DONE CHITUNGWIZA HOSPITAL NURSES

    • ED must take care of those hospitals

  • Worthy cause. We fully support you.

  • My nurses at my general hosiptal chitungwiza we support u which means patiance are dying because of lack of resouces yet the hosiptal demands a lot of money up front shame

  • They sell everything even water to drink your pills after u buy them they need money papombi yekanzuru panenge pasina mvura shame on this government shame

  • Ndokutonga kwaro, I’m happy you guys know how to put pressure on his ass.he must feel it,that presidential chair is not easy….

  • Mahure awanda kupfuura vanhu, kuvaviwa uku zvakuda kubviswa zvindakwenya

  • That’s the way to go vana mbuya mukoti at the end of the day vanhu vanongoti ma nurse acho haarapi yet iri poor management, management irikudya mari kupanana ma allowances ne mari which should be used to serve the public

  • Attention seekers, by downing tools are you not neglecting the same patients whose cause you claim to be fighting for??

    • What an absolute rubbish. What better way to get attention than to protest and i am sure they are others watching over the patients.
This malfunction thinking I think u need to stop and look on a bigger picture here.

    • You think patients are like cattle that looked after?? Patients are nursed Mr loud mouth, with the shortage which is already there we need every nurse by the bedside, not toyi toying!! Make no mistake one patient might loose his life during this missplaced publicity stunt!!

    • Busi, well done

  • WHAT SURPRISES ME IS THAT YOU STAY IN CHITUNGWIZA YOU IGNORE THE MALTREATMENT YOU ARE GETTING AT THAT ROTTEN HOSPITAL AND YOU JUMP TO COMMENT ON PARLIAMENT SHAME ON YOU GADZIRISAI ZVINHU MUNHARAUNDA DZENYU APA

    • What’s your point here exactly if you care to elaborate.

    • Iye parerenyatwa wacho chimhuka rudziiko

    • Hachitirimuke hachiende kana one day kunoona mawards he doesent care vamwe kutiora mari kurbz kuti vahaye mamonya ekuti vasabve pazvigaro shame

  • Good show…. Murwere munhu arikutitamburawo

  • Yes, its good to dance, thus drawing attention to that recycled minister of health. However, dancing the whole day shows some sign of stupidity. Otherwise no salary for these fools.

  • Akusi kuChitungwiza chete many hospitals are facing similar challenges

  • Health sector yedu yakafa kare bcz same minister akaregera vanhu vachifa necholera 2008 ndiye arikuramba achidzorerwapo bt vanhu vachingofa nezvirwere zvorapika pasina action yaari kuita.Manurse ari ryt bcz unobhadhara mari kut urapwe haupiwi musho unondotenga woshaya kut saka hospital yatorerei mari

  • Good cause- I hope people and the powers that be realize that these cadres are fighting for the welfare of their patients and that’s encouraging. They are really a caring and professional bunch,

  • im neutral i went there last year by zimbabwean standards this one is better. what needs to be done is to make sure those who cant afford the charges for example xrays which are done by a private company(baines) are catered for not turned away since its a public hospital. It was a noble cause to try to make services in the high density are available but the problem is the cost. Thats were the govt comes in more to money to healthy please Vachinamasa

  • Hats off nurses. Thats the Zim we want. Think of others b4 u think of urself. Well done ana mukoti

    • Idzo mbwa ndopadzavekutoda madiplomatic passports nefreeduty kti isu tivabhadharire manje we will vote them out 2018 n put new mps kana wadyiwa election ozoita sei nediplomatic passport yacho nonsense fokofu
